Oh, the bliss of September and the resumption of normal service.  It’s not that we don’t like being madcap-busy at the Crown and Castle, but we also love it when the schools go back, the village quietens down and our regular customers return to the fold. Of course, we can’t guarantee that the weather will be perfect but Orford in September is usually benign and beautiful, so fingers crossed.

Our 3-night Indian Summer package starts on Monday, 30th August and is available from Sundays to Thursdays until Thursday, 30th September 2010.  

The package includes:

• a 3-course a la carte dinner on two evenings (leaving one night for you to eat elswhere, if you wish)
• full English breakfast each morning
• an insulated box of Pinney’s Orford-smoked salmon, prawns & mackerel, as well as a pot of sweet mustard sauce, to take home with you
• a laminated pocket-pack of Suffolk walking maps
  

The tariff for the 3-night package, per room shared by 2 people is:
Good house double £465
Better house double £525
Best garden or courtyard double £555
Best house double £600
Suite £765

But if you book a stay during the first week of this offer, i.e. 30th August to 2nd September, we will give you an extra £30 DISCOUNT on the rates above (the reason being that bookings are always a bit ‘soft’ during the week the schools go back and we like to be full.)
