Bringing Children

We are not a dedicated family hotel (such as Woolley Grange) but do welcome children from 4 years old upwards. We have three rooms that are suitable for children between 4 – 12 years old to share with their parents. Our family garden room (room 20) can accommodate two children. Because this is an external room, we don't think it's suitable for very young children. Upstairs in the main building, rooms 1 and 3 can accommodate one child per room, sleeping on a futon. Children of 8 years and above are welcome to dine with their parents in the Trinity. For younger children we provide high tea between 5.30pm and 6.30pm. We are aware that this may sound prescriptive but the majority of our customers are child-free (many having left their own children behind, in order to enjoy an adult experience) and we know from experience that it breeds discontent if evenings are impinged upon. It's a difficult balancing act because, of course, we want all our guests to enjoy their stay with us. The B&B rate for children sharing a room with their parents (or legal carers) is £30 per night for 4 - 8 years old and £45 per night for 9 - 12 year olds.
